To keep the line and feel good in our sneakers, we play sports and eat healthy all year round. Summer arrives with lots of aperitifs, barbecues and ice cream … To enjoy the summer without harming our good eating habits, here are some ideas to stay in shape at the arrival of the beautiful days! Attention, I want to clarify that I practice intuitive food. So I do not have dietary rules. I do not forbid myself. These few points are rather ideas to stay in shape.
Cooked and raw mix
When it’s hot, we tend to jump on raw vegetables and salads! It’s good and fresh, but a bit aggressive for the stomach! It feels bloated and it’s not what you look for when you spend part of your day in a swimsuit! Remember to alternate the raw vegetables with cooked vegetables. They can very well be eaten cold and are much more digestible! I love fried zucchini served cold in a salad, or the slices of precooked carrots.
Eating foods rich in water
Fruits and vegetables all contain water but some more than others, which helps us stay hydrated, drain the body and keep the line! We put on melon, watermelon, red fruits, cucumber or tomatoes.
Eat good fats
The reflex to keep the line is to remove the fat. Fault! A sufficient intake of good fats is essential to our good health. Fats help the body absorb essential nutrients. For my part, I include in my diet lipids such as oily fish (salmon, sardines), oleaginous (almonds, nuts), avocado or olive oil to season my salads.
It can not be said enough, drinking enough water is essential for good health. Good hydration (an average of two liters per day is recommended) helps us to maintain the body’s natural balance.
Make smart aperitifs
The aperitif is a happy moment of sharing. I do not hesitate, but I always plan healthy options: vegetable sticks, vegetable chips, tomato and mozzarella sticks, mushrooms stuffed with tuna cream, etc. Of course, I forbid myself, if I want to nibble a few slices of saucisson, I do it with pleasure! But I toured it more fun to have some options to vary.
